That’s a nice universal, modular buzzbait / frog combo design. A few thoughts:
-
Wire gauge & stiffness — 0.41 mm is fairly thin, which gives flexibility but you need to ensure it holds shape under strikes and doesn’t bend too easily. The sleeve (0.82 mm) helps for reinforcement where the hook / trailer attaches.
-
Blade orientation & size — Medium clock‑wise blade gives a balance between vibration / splash and retrieval speed. Make sure the arm length / geometry gives enough clearance so the blade doesn’t foul the wire or frog.
-
Beads / hardware — Mmall stainless beads are good for spacing / smooth pivoting.
-
Hook & modularity — Using 5/0 EWG is solid, and making it modular so you can swap in different hook sizes or add trailers gives versatility.
