2. Buzzing Across Vegetation: Keep the Atomic Toad moving across lily pads, matted grass, and shallow vegetation while allowing the legs to create commotion.

3. Open-Water Retrieve: Swim it across shallow flats and open pockets near vegetation where bass are feeding near the surface.

4. Skipping: Use the streamlined body to reach docks, overhanging limbs, and shaded areas where fish may be holding tight to cover.

5. Stop-and-Go Retrieve: Pause the bait around openings in vegetation or beside cover to give following fish an opportunity to strike.
